About Me
.
I am an incoming Communications major at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, specializing in Entertainment, Communication, and Society on the Pre-law track. With a passion for the music and entertainment industries, I aspire to become a music attorney. My internships at Smith Entertainment Law Group in 2023 and 2024 deepened my interest in law and expanded my understanding of the industry’s complexities. Additionally, participating in the 2024 Grammy Camp for Music Business further solidified my career trajectory, inspiring me to work towards declaring a minor in Music Industry.
Furthermore, as a woman, I want to break through the gender imbalances in the entertainment law sector of the music industry. Currently, the number of female entertainment lawyers is far from what it should be. I hope to see that number continue to rise.
In my spare time, I am a freelance Music & Entertainment Journalist at That Fangirl Life, where I cover the latest news in the industry. I also enjoy mentoring a small group of girls in Des’s Village via Zoom, and email campaign fundraising for the RCL Sewing Academy.
